The casting for the lead roles in the timeless classic "In The Heat Of The Night" was astounding. Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger elevated a somewhat mundane screenplay to our ionosphere. The acting, the rural setting, the searing theme, and the direction produced one of the greatest film in the history of cinematography. I really enjoy this movie.
